CASINO TRANSFERS
Feeling Lucky? Take a 24 Hour service limo to and from one of the two casinos near Athens.
The closest one is the Mont Parnes Regency Casino of Athens and it is found on the slopes of Mount Parnitha at a distance of about 18 kms. In the casino premises you can also have dinner at the “1055” restaurant, a name given from the exact altitude, enjoying the spectacular view of the whole city of Athens. Souvenir tips
Greece has a long tradition of leatherwork, from belts, bags, wallets, and purses jackets and sandals as well as briefcases and many accessories, leather goods in Greece are made with good quality leather and will last you a lifetime. The country is also famous for its honey, which is truly unlike anything else in the world,(the most traditional is thyme honey), as well as its dried herbs, green mountain tea, oregano, and of course all the oil-olive products.
Two of the typical items you will see a lot in various shops all over the country are the worry beads and the evil eye, both available in many colors and material. The locals carry these beads as a way to relax or get through hard times, as many cultures or religions have strings of beads for similar purposes. The evil eye, or mati, is a symbol of protection and Greeks believe that wearing an evil eye will protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good vibes their way. You’ll find the evil eye on key chains, magnets, jewelry, and home decorations.
